A. Cancellation policy
Introduction
Consumers have the right of withdrawal according to the following provisions, where a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed:
Right to regret
You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, has or has obtained possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Velvet Trading GmbH, Markircher Str. 12a, 68229 Mannheim, Germany, Tel: +49 (0)621 - 405 465 90, Fax: +49 (0)621 - 32 89 93 19, E-Mail: kontakt@floordirekt.dk) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached standard cancellation form for this purpose, which is not mandatory, however.
In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of the regret
If you cancel this agreement, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (but not extra costs as a result of you choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification that you have withdrawn from this agreement. For repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you have to pay a fee for this refund. We may refuse a refund until we have received the item back, or until you have provided documentation that you have returned the item, whichever is the earliest.
You must return or hand over the goods to us as soon as possible and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you have notified us that you want to cancel this agreement. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The direct costs of returning the goods are estimated at a maximum of approx. 50 euros for each such item in respect of items that cannot be returned to us normally by post due to their nature (shipment items).
You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check the condition, properties and function of the goods.
Exclusion or premature expiration of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to agreements for the supply of goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which is clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who do not belong to a member state of the European Union at the time of conclusion of the agreement, and whose sole place of residence and delivery address is outside the European Union at the time of conclusion of the agreement.
General information
1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Return the item to us in the original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please provide adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us by carrier.
3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for effective exercise of the right of cancellation.
